Cryotherapy

Removal of skin lesions

Details

Cryotherapy also known as cold therapy is used to freeze non-cancerous lesions anywhere on the skin. it reduces the blood supply to the lesion, the lesion eventually causes a crust and falls off over 4-6 week leaving new skin behind. However larger lesions or warts may need multiple treatments. The procedure is completely safe when used by a trained Practitioner. Please note any lesions can become darker before falling off please bare this in mind especially if on your face especially if you have any special occasions to go to. If your skin lesion looks suspicious you will be given advice to see your GP. To advice them further assessment is needed and possible referral to Dermatology. To book a free skin consultation and assessment please contact the number on the website or complete the message form for further information.
