Our first clinic is scheduled for *Monday 2 November 2026*, with appointments planned for one day each week.
We are now welcoming enquiries from patients interested in learning more about laser-assisted skin tightening and body contouring treatments.

- What are Endolift and Endolaser?
Endolift is a name used for a specific type of minimally invasive, laser-assisted aesthetic treatment. Endolaser is a broader term commonly used to describe procedures that deliver laser energy beneath the skin.
These treatments use a very fine optical fibre to deliver controlled laser energy below the skin's surface.
Depending on the technique used, they may be intended to:
- Improve the appearance of mild to moderate skin laxity.
- Encourage collagen remodelling within the treated tissues.
- Target small, localised areas of fat through laser-assisted lipolysis.
- Improve the contour and appearance of selected facial or body areas.
The exact benefits depend on the individual's anatomy, treatment area, equipment used and clinical suitability.
These procedures are not a replacement for a surgical facelift or traditional liposuction, and results cannot be guaranteed.
- What is laser lipolysis?
Lipolysis refers to the breakdown of fat.
Laser-assisted lipolysis uses controlled laser energy within tissue to target localised fat and may be combined with a skin-tightening approach.
It is generally considered for selected areas of relatively modest fat accumulation rather than substantial fat removal.
How is this different from liposuction?
Traditional liposuction is a surgical procedure that physically removes fat using a thin tube called a cannula and a suction device.
Laser-assisted lipolysis may work without suction, although some techniques combine laser energy with fat aspiration.
Your surgeon will explain which method is proposed, why it may be appropriate and whether a different procedure or no treatment would be more suitable.

- Your Consultation — Individual Assessment Comes First
At The TX Room, we believe that cosmetic treatment should begin with an informed conversation, not a decision made in haste.
Your consultation with Dr Starega is an opportunity to discuss your concerns, ask questions and explore whether a procedure is appropriate for you.
Your assessment will include discussion of:
1. *Your goals and expectations: What you hope to achieve and what may realistically be possible.
2. Your medical history: Relevant health conditions, medication, previous procedures, allergies and factors that may affect treatment or recovery.
3. Clinical suitability: Assessment of the treatment area, skin quality and individual circumstances.
4. Treatment options: The proposed technique, potential benefits, alternatives and the option of having no treatment.
5. Risks and complications: Possible side effects, limitations and what may happen if results differ from expectations.
6. Recovery and aftercare: Expected downtime, work and exercise restrictions, follow-up appointments and how to obtain help if a problem occurs.
7. Transparent pricing:* A clear quotation covering the procedure, follow-up arrangements and any potential additional costs.
Patients will be given appropriate time to consider their options before making a decision.
There is no obligation to proceed following consultation.

- What Happens During Endolaser Treatment?
The precise process will depend on the planned procedure, but a typical laser-assisted treatment may involve the following stages.
1. Planning and preparation
Your surgeon will confirm the proposed treatment area, review your medical information and discuss the procedure and consent.
2. Local anaesthesia
The area may be numbed using local anaesthetic to help manage discomfort.
3. Laser treatment
A fine optical fibre is introduced beneath the skin through a small entry point. Controlled laser energy is delivered to the selected tissues according to the treatment plan.
4. Completion and recovery
Following treatment, the area is checked and appropriate dressings or compression may be applied where indicated.
5. Aftercare and review
You will receive individual written aftercare instructions, relevant contact information and arrangements for follow-up.
Procedure duration and discharge arrangements depend on the treatment being performed.

- Recovery, Downtime & Aftercare
Recovery varies between patients and treatment areas.
- What should I expect after Endolaser?
Following laser-assisted treatment, patients may experience:
- Swelling and bruising
- Tenderness or soreness
- Temporary numbness or changes in sensation
- Redness or localised discomfort
- Temporary firmness or unevenness as tissues heal
These effects may settle gradually, but the duration is individual. Some patients may resume light routine activities relatively quickly, while others need more recovery time.
Your surgeon will advise you about returning to work, exercise, driving and other normal activities.
- How should I care for the treated area?
Your personalised aftercare plan may include:
- Keeping treatment entry points clean and following dressing instructions.
- Wearing compression garments if prescribed.
- Avoiding strenuous exercise until cleared by your surgeon.
- Protecting healing skin and avoiding activities or products that could irritate it.
- Taking only medication recommended or approved by your treating clinician.
- Attending your scheduled postoperative reviews.
You will receive specific instructions appropriate to your procedure.
- Are there risks?
As with any procedure involving instruments and laser energy beneath the skin, complications are possible.
Risks may include infection, bleeding, burns, changes in skin colour, scarring, prolonged swelling, changes in sensation, contour irregularities or an unsatisfactory aesthetic result.
Your surgeon will discuss the risks relevant to the procedure and treatment area before consent is obtained.
If you experience worsening pain, spreading redness, fever, unusual discharge or another concerning symptom after treatment, contact your treating clinical team promptly. Severe symptoms such as chest pain or difficulty breathing require emergency medical attention.
